Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif while reiterating that country’s nuclear assets are in safe hands said Wednesday nuclear technology will be used for power generation and social uplift.
In a message to the nation on the occasion of 16th Youm-e-Takbeer – which marks May 28, 1998 when Pakistan carried out six nuclear tests – the prime minister congratulated the nation on the 16th anniversary.
He said that nuclear arsenal is in safe hands, adding nuclear weapons have made Pakistan’s defence impregnable.
