Greta Thunberg mocked Andrew Tate on Twitter after Romanian officials detained him on human trafficking, rape, and organized crime charges.
“This is what happens when you don’t recycle your pizza boxes,” Greta Thunberg tweeted.
According to anti-organized-crime prosecutors, Tate, a former kickboxer and controversial online guru, will be jailed for 24 hours together with two Romanian suspects.
Tate, 36, got into an online debate with Greta Thunberg over his “33 cars emissions.” Then, in a Tweet, Tate bragged about Ferrari and Bugatti attributes.
Tate and his brother Tristan were arrested in Romania on Thursday. Authorities used his footage showing Jerry’s Pizza boxes to prove he was in the country. Tate was arrested 24 hours after sending Thunberg footage.
Thunberg responded Friday to claims their online dispute led to Tate’s imprisonment.
