To prevent any untoward incident at New Year, Sindh government on Tuesday decided to put a ban on pillion riding on December 31.
According to a notification issued by Home Department, pillion riding has been banned in the city for 24 hours to prevent any untoward incident on New Year Night.
The ban will be functional from 6:00 AM on Wednesday, 31 December 2014.
Furthermore celebratory gunfire, fireworks, and displaying weapons are also forbidden by the law until the dawn on January 1, 2015.
D.H.A administration and K.M.C administrator have been issued directions in this regard.
