Chief Justice of Pakistan, Qazi Faez Isa, has established a committee of two judges to determine the protocol for live broadcasting Supreme Court proceedings.
The committee, including Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Athar Minallah, is assigned to develop and present a report detailing the protocols for live telecasts of court hearings within one week.
After submitting the committee’s findings, a comprehensive discussion will be held amongst the judges to scrutinize the evaluation further.
This initiative follows the unprecedented live telecast of the Supreme Court’s proceedings on Monday, a first in the history of state television.
