BEIJING: “Pakistan seeks strong economic and trade partnership with China”, said PM Sharif, adding that Pakistan-China economic corridor project reflects the strong ties between the two neighboring countries.

He said this while talking to his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang during his ongoing China visit. The two leaders held talks regarding geo-political situation and implementation of the economic corridor as well as cooperation of the two countries in development of the energy sector.

“Strong ties with China are an integral part of our foreign policy,” the prime minister said. “Pakistan looks forward to your visit.”

He also declared Pakistan’s support for “One China” policy.

Expressing his ‘delight’ over PM Sharif’s visit, the Chinese premier asserted the visit will also help pave the way for the implementation of economic corridor project.
