The Pakistan Army successfully conducted a test launch of the Fatah-II guided rocket system, which has a range of 400 kilometres. This rocket system will significantly enhance the reach and lethality of the army’s conventional arsenal.
The guidance system transforms this rocket into a precision weapon, boosting its lethality and efficacy. Its trajectory mode and terminal guidance technology enable it to evade enemy anti-ballistic missile systems.
Fatah-II is being inducted into the army’s artillery divisions for stand-off and precision engagement of deep targets. It will be used in conventional warfare by the Pakistan Army.
The army chief, senior officers of the three services, and scientists and engineers witnessed the flight test.
The president, prime minister, chairman joint chiefs of staff committee, and army chief congratulated the participating troops and scientists on this achievement.
