The 170th corps commanders’ conference took place at the General Headquarters Rawalpindi, amid the Govt. prepared for the second stage of the dialogue with TTP. The Govt. is also intending to open a direct channel with the Taliban leadership in next week.
However, according to military sources, during the discussions there was no direct discussion made on including military nominee in Govt. peace team, as no such proposal had been conveyed by the political leadership to the military command.
