Pakistan’s political instability and economic crises have caused thousands of competent citizens to emigrate.

According to the Bureau of Immigration, 765,000 people left Pakistan for a bright future in 2022, a 300 percent rise from the previous year.

92,000 doctors, engineers, IT experts, and accountants were included in this year’s report.

Political turmoil and an economic crisis have darkened Pakistan’s future.

In 2022, 765,000 young doctors, engineers, IT experts, accountants, and paramedics fled Pakistan. Most went to Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

According to a bureau official, rising inflation, unemployment, and political insecurity drive the youth brain drain.

This year, Pakistan lost 7,000 engineers, 25,000 doctors, 1,600 nurses, 2,000 computer professionals, 6,500 accountants, 2,600 agricultural experts, and 9,000 teachers.

This year, Pakistani specialists favored Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, Malaysia, China, Japan, Turkey, Sudan, Romania, the UK, Spain, Germany, Greece, and Italy.

Over 730,000 kids traveled to the Gulf States and nearly 40,000 to Europe and Asia. In addition, 470,000 Pakistanis sought employment in Saudi Arabia, 119,000 in the UAE, 77,000 in Oman, 51,634 in Qatar, and 2,000 in Kuwait.
