Nearly 60 shops were completely burnt to ground when fire broke out at a local market of Upper Dir’s Ashiri Dara.
According to Nazim Village Council said that the fire erupted in Tarpatar Bazaar and gutted the shops.
The shopkeepers put out the blaze with the assistance of local residents.
The traders protested over late arrival of fire brigade personnel.
