The Punjab government has declared a temporary shutdown of all educational facilities. This move precedes the approaching elections in Pakistan. From February 5th to 9th, the province’s schools, colleges, and universities will remain closed.
Chief Minister Naqvi emphasized the necessity of this action. It aims to facilitate the electoral process and support logistical needs. Educational spaces will serve as polling stations. The closure encourages participation in the elections.
Educational activities will proceed until February 3rd, ending at 9:30 AM. This schedule allows for academic commitments to be met before the shutdown.
