Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has called upon nation to boycott Jang and Geo group and its flagship newspapers for (what he claims is) its “anti-state propaganda”.

In a fiery speech yesterday night, Khan said the Geo/Jang group ran a campaign against the Pakistan army to defame it internationally. “Any patriotic Pakistani [who has comprehended the ulterior motives of Geo group] will not buy its newspaper from this point on,” he said.

He slammed the owner of Jang/Geo group, Mir Shakil ur Rehman and said he was a tax evader sitting in the UAE, whose earnings are based on blackmailings. Khan said Mir Rehman launched a campaign to malign the Pakistan Army and now he was up to waging propaganda against him.
