A passenger was detained at Dubai International Airport for possessing items likely intended for sorcery following a flight from an African country.

Customs officials, acting on suspicion, discovered a bizarre assortment in a plastic box during an exhaustive search. This collection included a live snake, a monkey’s hand, a deceased bird, and eggs encased in cotton.

Additionally, spells, talismans, and various tools, all presumably for sorcery, were found among the passenger’s belongings. These artifacts, alongside paper clippings and miscellaneous items, were confiscated.

For further analysis, these objects were transferred to Dubai’s Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities.
