Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori urged all MQM groups to cooperate to tackle Karachi’s problems.
The governor visited Pak Sarzameen Party’s Pakistan House late at night, met with Mustafa Kamal and offered to unify their parties under MQM Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.
He asked MQM groups to drop their complaints. It’s ours. It’s ours. Tessori said, “We must stand together.”
“We must resolve to do things the state didn’t.”
According to the governor, Karachi residents face load shedding, traffic, decaying infrastructure, and other concerns.
“What are we doing without electricity, gas, and other utilities?” he said, adding that Karachi has been a mother in times of disaster elsewhere in the country.
PSP Chairman Mustafa Kamal hailed Sindh Governor’s visit. He explained his absence delayed the meeting. He said his party would work with anyone to improve the city.
Kamal: “The city is a cradle of peace now; we want to take it further.” The PSP chairman said the country was in a critical phase with more trouble ahead. Karachi is the country’s economic forefront, he promised.
