MQM has accepted an invitation from Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to come for a meeting in the backdrop of a charged political climate fueled mainly by the PTI’s planned march on Islamabad on August 14.
An MQM delegation was formally invited to hold a meeting with the Prime Minister which has been accepted by the former.
The meeting is scheduled to be held on Thursday.
Government-led consultations have picked up momentum as the date of Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI) ‘Azadi March’ draws near.
