The Sindh government has suspended cellular phone services in different cities from 12pm to 7pm in connection with Ashura security plan,
The services will suspended in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, Nawabshah, Khairpur and Shikarpur.
The decision has been taken on the directives of federal government.
“The services will resume after a lull of seven hours this evening when almost all processions of Ashura will culminate at their respective cities,” an official of the Sindh home ministry told Samaa.
In other cities of the country, the cellular phone services will be suspended only along routes of processions.
