Lollywood actress Meera and Ali Saleem alias Begum Nawazish Ali have made their mind to make a comeback with the upcoming Pakistani film ‘Bad Boys’.
Saleem, who last time seen on silver screen in an Indian show ‘Big Boss’ season 4, is making his comeback after more than three years in the film directed by acclaimed director Hassan Askari.
‘Bad Boys’ is likely to feature some new talent that will accompany Meera and Saleem.
Askari has directed several films and won National Film Awards for his blockbuster films, ‘Aag Kinara,’ ‘Khoon Paseena’ and ‘Toofan’.
Meera and Saleem’s upcoming film is planned to hit the cinemas on Eidul Fitr when three other Pakistani films – Yasir Nawaz’s directorial debut film ‘Wrong Number’, Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed starrer ‘Bin Roye’, a film by Momina Duraid and Jamal Shah’s debut film ‘Revenge of the Worthless’ – are already lined up for release.
Meera, who started her film career in 1995 with ‘Kanta’, has been one of the leading actresses since her debut. She has also worked in four Bollywood films as well.
On the other hand, we have Saleem, who has got fame with his alter-ego Begum Nawazish Ali, is a Pakistani television host, actor, scriptwriter and impressionist. He broke into the mainstream audiences through his impersonations of late prime minister Benazir Bhutto and later playing the cross-dressing Begum Nawazish Ali on various television channels.
