Maryam Nawaz, the Chief Minister of Punjab, donned a police uniform to attend the passing-out ceremony of new officers today.
During the event, she inspected the parade and shared her enthusiasm for the ceremony, noting that she had been looking forward to it since her inauguration. She revealed that the Inspector General of Punjab Police had personally invited her to witness the graduation of female officers.

Dr. Shahbaz Gill, a political commentator, offered a particularly pointed critique, linking Maryam’s appearance to her father’s known affinity for films, suggesting she was merely performing a role. He humorously cautioned her against extending her role-playing to other professions, like medicine.
