Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) student, Shahmir Asif Bajwa, was found dead in hostel room on Monday.
LUMS administration in a obituary said, “It is with deep sorrow that we are writing to share very tragic news: Our MIMS student and hostel resident Shahmir Asif Bajwa has passed away.”

According to local English newspaper ‘The Express Tribune Pakistan’ , hotel students informed LUMS administration immediate after Bajwa was found unconscious and he was immediately shifted to National Defence Hospital, where the doctors said he had expired earlier during the day.

‘The Express Tribune Pakistan’ also claimed that according to initial reports suggest Shahmir died of cardiac arrest caused by heroine overdose.
Shahmir Asif Bajwa’s post-mortem will be carried today.
