Khloé Kardashian insisted on a paternity test for Tristan Thompson, driven by doubts about their youngest child’s parentage. Although the child was conceived via surrogate, Khloé’s suspicions grew because the child resembled her brother, Rob Kardashian.
Acting decisively, Khloé required NBA player Tristan Thompson, the father of her other children, to undergo three paternity tests. This was to confirm Tatum’s parentage, their youngest, especially given the unconventional circumstances of his birth.
Khloé noted Tatum’s strong resemblance to her brother in appearance and personality as he approached his second birthday. She humorously discussed her concerns on the She MD podcast, questioning whether Rob might have unknowingly contributed as a sperm donor.
Khloé joked about the family dynamics on the podcast, “My son looks just like my brother. Because he was an IVF baby or a surrogate baby, I was like, ‘Rob, have you ever donated sperm somewhere?'”
Tristan was notably displeased by the suggestion. Khloé light-heartedly remarked that he was “so offended,” laughing as she added, “In this family, that would not surprise me, but that would be so disgusting.”
Ultimately, the multiple paternity tests confirmed Tristan’s paternity. Khloé praised Tristan as an incredible father to their children despite the complications arising from Tristan’s previously undisclosed child with Maralee Nichols during their surrogacy process.
