Karachi based production house, SOC Films, is set to release Pakistan’s first HD Urdu language animated feature film titled 3 Bahadur in collaboration with ARY Films. Produced entirely in Pakistan, this animated feature promises to set a new standard for animated fiction and content geared towards children in the country.

3 Bahadur will be Pakistan’s first animated full-length super hero film that aims to empower and motivate today’s youth through dynamic 3D animation and an engaging story telling format. Based in a fictional town in Pakistan, eleven year old Amna, Saadi and Kamil set out to save their community from the many evils that plague it. The film is a journey of fighting back, taking charge, and finding support and love in the most improbable of places.

Speaking about her recent initiatives, Film and TV Director Pakistan’s one and only Oscar winner Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy said, “Almost 3 years ago, I had an intense desire to create an animated feature in Pakistan which would appeal to both children and adults alike.

3 Bahadur is set to launch in the summer of 2015.
