At three policemen were killed ina mere 15 minute period in two separate incidents across Karachi in the early morning hours today.
In the first incident, a cop was gunned down by unidentified armed men near Shanti Nagar, Baldia Town. The cop was deployed for security of polio teams in the area. The body was moved to a hospital for medico-legal formalities.
In another incident, two policemen were shot dead near Orangi, Quaidabad round about. They were identified as Azam and Azhar. Both the cops were heading for a duty in the area when armed culprits targeted them.
The criminals in both the incidents managed to flee from the incident. Police have commenced investigations.
