“The ongoing Karachi operation is non-political and without any discrimination,” claimed the Corps Commander Karachi earlier today.
He spoke as chief guest at the passing out parade of Rangers recruits at the Training Centre and School of Pakistan.

As many as 1,030 jawans passed out after completing their training.
The Corps Commander reviewed the parade and distributed prizes among those who excelled during the training.
In his address on occasion, he said that Karachi’s operation is non-political and without any discrimination and free from any expediency or pressure.
Corps Commander said that the targets of this operation were terrorists, their facilitators, and the sponsors. No stone would be left unturned to achieve these targets, he added.
He also appealed to the people that they should keep a vigilant eye on happenings around them as part of their social responsibility. In case of any unusual activity, they should inform the concerned organizations.
The Corps Commander also congratulated the passing out jawans and said they are an institution in themselves and that their every act would bring a good name for their organization.
He appreciated Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, and said its success is due to its leadership and effective training.
The Corps Commander said that owing to the Rangers and other law enforcement agencies (LEAs), Karachi’s law and order situation is heading towards improvement. The people’s confidence is being restored. He added that we would not let these institutions’ sacrifices go in vain.
Earlier, the Director General of Pakistan Rangers, Sindh, Maj. Gen. Bilal Akbar received the Corps Commander. Senior officers of the paramilitary Rangers force, Sindh, were also occasionally present.
