In a recent development in Karachi, Natasha Danish, the main accused in the tragic incident where a father and daughter were fatally struck by her vehicle at Karsaz, has settled with the bereaved family.
The resolution involves the payment of Diyat, or blood money, a form of compensation under Islamic law that allows for reconciliation between the offender and the victim’s family.
The agreement stipulates that Natasha Danish will pay the deceased’s family an amount exceeding 55 million rupees, which has been transferred via a pay order, finalizing the financial aspect of the settlement.
The arrangement includes monetary compensation and a provision for employment. To further support the family during this challenging time, a job will be provided to Amina, a relative of the deceased, within the company associated with Natasha Danish.
