The police have unearthed an abduction claim of an 11-day-old girl from Karachi’s Baldia Town.
According to the police investigation, the woman who allegedly staged the kidnapped of a baby girl has been identified as Aini Begum.
Police’s investigation reveals that Ainu Begum did not give birth to a baby girl, nor was the baby girl her own. Rather, Aini Begum bought her friend’s newborn baby girl in her house and plotted the kidnapping. The woman fabricated the girl’s kidnapping and told authorities she was coming from the doctor when a motorcyclist kidnapped her newborn near Ruby Mor and fled.
Police investigated the woman’s calims and found no sign of the girl or evidence of a kidnapping.
When the police reached out to the hospital to confirm the birthday, a nurse confirmed that Aini Bibi never had a delivery at the hospital, which created further doubt. The police questioned the mother of Aini Begum; she confirmed that the newborn was not her daughter’s but someone else’s. The girl’s biological mother requested her return, and they did it.
Aini’s husband remarried, and Aini Bibi staged the birth of the baby girl to obtain her husband’s attention.
Police have lodged an FIR against Aini Bibi and her family for staging a false abduction.
