The joint session of the Parliament will resume in Islamabad on Wednesday (today) in which the sit-ins of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) will be discussed.
The parliament session was adjourned in view of the flood situation in the country.
A resolution to evacuate the Red Zone area of Islamabad from the protesters is likely to be passed.
It should be noted that senators and National Assembly members insisted Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to not resign from office. The pro-democratic parties had vowed to protect the constitution and democracy in the sessions held earlier.
The joint session of the Parliament is likely to continue till Friday.
