Private jets and luxury cars paint the picture of the lavish lifestyle led by Jasveen Sangha, known as the “Ketamine Queen of Los Angeles.” Sangha, a 41-year-old dual British and American citizen, faces charges in a high-profile federal case as the alleged supplier of the ketamine that resulted in actor Matthew Perry’s death on October 28 last year.
Authorities arrested Sangha along with four others, labelling her a “celebrity drug dealer” who provided high-quality drugs to elite clients. Her home in Hollywood, described by federal agents as a “drug-selling emporium,” reportedly functioned as the core of her extensive narcotics operation, which included methamphetamine, cocaine, Xanax, and ketamine.
A March raid at her residence revealed 79 bottles of liquid ketamine and nearly 2,000 methamphetamine pills, among other illicit drugs. Since at least June 2019, her drug dealings financed a lifestyle of global jet-setting to destinations like Mexico, Spain, and Dubai, displaying indifference to the lethal consequences of the drugs she sold.
Sangha’s opulence extended to her choice of vehicles, upgrading from a Range Rover to a leased 2024 BMW, and her North Hollywood residence, which served as a significant storage site for her operations. Social media posts depicted her mingling with A-list celebrities and indulging in luxury goods from high-end brands like Louis Vuitton and Chanel.
Even as federal prosecutors pressed charges, Sangha seemed unfazed, frequently seen at social gatherings and indulging in luxury treatments. She was initially released on a $100,000 bond after a March arrest for methamphetamine possession but was later detained without bail following her re-arrest linked to Perry’s death. Sangha faces an 18-count indictment, including conspiracy to distribute ketamine, falsifying documents, and other drug trafficking offences, to which she has pleaded not guilty.
