Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan earlier yesterday openly admitted his failure in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to bring reforms in health and education sectors in the province.
“I request the people, who’re causing hindrance in the change of system in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa hospitals to please facilitate the change for the poor,” Khan made an emphatic appeal as he addressed a gathering in Haripur in connection with the upcoming by-election.
“Hospitals and universities are two areas that are still not up to my expectation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” he said.
“I challenge all the opponents to prove if we have used the police for political victimization.”
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police arrested a sitting minister and this was the change we aspired to achieve.
“There will be a time in Punjab and other provinces that people will seek their rights after seeing how empowered people are in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.”
The PTI chief denounced the Kasur child abuse incident as utterly shameful. “This incident has shamed Pakistan in the world,” he said.
“Being a father, I understand the pain families will be going through due to the abuse,” he added.
