A gas explosion in Harnai’s Shahrag coal field killed at least six miners.
At least six workers were reportedly trapped in the Harnai coal mine after an explosion.
Levies officials, rescue and district administration, have rushed to the scene after the reported event.
Levies officials reported the disaster happened in Haji Dilawar Khan’s coal mine in Shahrg Tarkh Tung.
The deceased miners have been identified as Naseeb Gul, Sarfraz, Najeebullah, Rehman Ullah, Ghani Rehman, and Bacha Khan. All the deceased hail from Swat’s Shangla region.
Balochistan’s chief minister has taken notice and ordered a probe into the tragedy.
