Although the drama’s plot surrounds a traumatic incident involving the lead, Taskeen, Kiani clarified that it wasn’t linked to any specific real-life incident.
Journalist Fereeha M Idrees suggested that the producers hadn’t sought permission from the motorway incident survivor, but Kiani affirmed her initial concerns were addressed, confirming the drama’s distinct narrative.
Kiani highlighted the frequent occurrence of such horrific acts in society, suggesting episodes with sensitive content should carry trigger warnings. She hopes the discussions around such topics advance, aiming to support survivors.
