Governor Sindh Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad talked to Director General (DG) Rangers Major General Rizwan Akhtar at Governor House yesterday.
During the meeting, Major General Rizwan Akhtar gave briefing to Ishrat-ul-Ibad regarding ongoing targeted operation on Sindh and Karachi, security condition and the measures that have been taken for the safety and security of people.
Governor Sindh directed DG Rangers to ensure effective security arrangements to counter any repercussion from the actions taken against militants across the country. He also advised to make ongoing targeted operation more effective.
The Governor said that elimination of crimes can only be possible with the integrated intelligence system as well as proper interaction between concern departments. He also suggested increased patrolling in high crime areas.
