The government has set the deadline for redeeming National Prize Bonds (NPBs).

The federal government has extended the deadline for cashing Rs7500, 15,000, 25,000, and 40,000 prize bonds to June 30, 2023.

“The government had a fixed deadline of June 30, 2022, for encashment of these prize bonds; however, considering that some of the prize bond holders could not get their bonds redeemed, a final opportunity has been given for encashment of prize bonds till June 30, 2023.” the announcement said.

The SBP invited commercial banks to accept encashment/conversion/redemption requests from the public till June 30, 2023.

The public is invited to redeem their bonds by June 30, 2023.

Investors can now put money into accounts, and bondholders can buy government investment certificates.

The government discontinued selling these four prize bonds to assist national economy documentation.
