Gold prices in Pakistan have seen an uptick for the second day in a row, marking a significant increase in market rates. The cost of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs400, setting the price at Rs215,500 per tola.
This upward trend was mirrored in the rate of 10 grams of 24-karat gold, which rose by Rs343 to Rs184,756. Despite the general upward trend, the price of 22-karat gold per 10 grams slightly decreased, now valued at Rs169,360. Meanwhile, the rate of 24-karat silver held steady at Rs2,600, indicating a stable market for silver amidst the gold price hike.

On the international stage, gold prices also experienced growth, with a $5 increase bringing the price to $2,053 per ounce. These fluctuations are primarily attributed to changes in the value of the US dollar, highlighting the complex interplay between currency valuation and gold prices.
