General Qamar Javed Bajwa transferred command of the Pakistani Army to General Asim Munir on Tuesday.
As a result of the shift in leadership, General Munir is now the seventeenth army chief of the Pakistan Army. At a ceremony held at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi, the baton was passed to the incoming chief of army staff.
