A resurgence of gang violence has struck Lahore, highlighted by the recent murder of Tayfi Butt’s brother-in-law.
The violent episode unfolded on Canal Road near the FC College underpass, where gunmen targeted a vehicle, killing one and injuring another before fleeing the scene. Authorities, including police and forensic teams, promptly arrived to gather evidence.
The victim was identified as Javed Butt, Tayfi Butt’s brother-in-law. This attack is part of a continuing feud linked to the murder of Amir Balaj, with Tayfi Butt as the central suspect.
The longstanding enmity has reignited, leading to this deadly confrontation near the Muslim Town underpass where Mohammad Javed Butt was fatally wounded.
