The Ministry of Finance has demanded refund of Rs 3 billion from Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) under the head of local government elections,
The finance ministry had released the amount of Rs 3 billion to the ECP last year for LG elections. The ECP is of the view that it had still to pay Pakistan Army and National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) for general elections.
