The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Karachi has arrested Mohammad Mushtaq Rajput, who was apprehended as a suspect involved in creating and issuing fraudulent documents during a raid in Karachi following a complaint by the US Consulate.

The US Consulate reported that Rajput had deceived citizens by issuing fake appointment letters through his visa consultancy business, “Mansoor Consultants.”

According to the initial investigation, Rajput allegedly charged a victim PKR 200,000 in exchange for a fraudulent appointment letter. However, the forgery was uncovered when the victim attempted to verify the document with the relevant authorities.

This discovery prompted the US authorities to file a formal complaint, leading to swift action by the FIA. Mohammad Mushtaq Rajput was arrested, and an inquiry has been initiated to investigate the full extent of his fraudulent activities.

The FIA is working to uncover additional details about the case, including whether Rajput was involved in similar scams targeting other individuals. The arrest highlights the agency’s commitment to combating human trafficking and document fraud, particularly in cases involving international complaints.
