At Peshawar Airport, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) immigration cell successfully thwarted the most wanted human trafficker, Muhammad Nabi, who attempted to flee the country.
According to the FIA spokesperson, the operation led to the capture of Muhammad Nabi and Aminullah.
Muhammad Nabi, deeply involved in human trafficking and visa fraud, was caught while trying to board a flight to Oman. During his arrest, authorities confiscated several counterfeit visa stickers from his mobile phone.
Nabi is implicated in numerous cases at the FIA Composite Circle Mardan, where he is accused of defrauding victims of large sums of money under pretences.
The prompt action of the FIA Immigration personnel at Peshawar Airport halted Nabi’s flight and facilitated his transfer to Mardan for further legal proceedings.
Concurrently, another suspect, Aminullah, was detained for attempting to travel with a counterfeit Italian resident card. Preliminary investigations suggest that Aminullah obtained the fake document from an organized crime network specializing in document forgery.
Aminullah has now been transferred to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Peshawar for additional investigation and legal proceedings.
