“Game of Thrones” actor Esme Bianco has settled a federal lawsuit with Marilyn Manson over sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, attorneys for both sides said Wednesday.
“To move on with her life and career,” lawyer Jay Ellwanger said in an email, Bianco settled her lawsuit against Manson and his record company.
Manson’s attorney Howard King confirmed the agreement via email. “Simply never happened” and “provably false” were his previous statements about the suit.
Bianco filed a lawsuit in federal court in Los Angeles in 2021 alleging that Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, violated human trafficking laws by bringing her to California from England in 2009 and 2011 under the guise of roles in music videos and movies that never happened.
The suit claimed Manson deprived Bianco of food and sleep, gave her alcohol and drugs, locked her in a bedroom, whipped her, cut her, shocked her, tried to force her to have sex with another woman, and threatened to enter her room and rape her at night.
A Tuesday court filing says a dismissal request will be filed in 45 days, subject to judicial approval. Terms were withheld.
Two similar lawsuits against Manson, filed by a former assistant and a model, have been dismissed by judges, but at least one more remains.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department turned over a 19-month criminal investigation into Manson’s sexual abuse of women in September, but prosecutors said they needed more evidence before charging him.
Manson is also suing his ex-fiancée, Evan Rachel Wood, for conspiring with a friend to use false allegations and pretenses to get other women to come forward about him.
Wood declared in court that she never pressured anyone to lie about Manson.
Bianco and others accused Manson of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse after Wood claimed on social media in early 2021. As a result, Manson’s record label and agents dropped him.
Last year’s HBO documentary “Phoenix Rising” detailed Wood’s Manson experience.
