Hailie Jade Scott, the 28-year-old daughter of Eminem, and her husband Evan McClintock, recently celebrated their upcoming addition to the family.
The couple, who announced they were expecting a boy in October, captured a poignant moment at a wedding on Saturday, November 23, and shared it on Instagram.
In the shared photo, Scott, glowing and radiant, cradled her baby bump alongside McClintock. She captioned the image, “Ending wedding season with my favorite plus 2,” playfully referring to her husband and unborn child.
The announcement came shortly after the couple revealed their baby’s gender in a delightful episode of Scott’s podcast, “Just A Little Shady.” During the show, they popped a balloon filled with blue confetti and joyously announced, “It’s a boy!”
Eminem’s relationship with his daughter also shined through during this joyful time. In October, he released a music video for his song “Temporary,” featuring home videos of Scott, including the moment she informed him of her pregnancy by showing him a sonogram. “When I told him I was going to be a mom, he just said, ‘Grandpa!’ and I showed him the sonogram,” Scott shared in an interview.
Further demonstrating the family’s support, Scott’s podcast co-host, Brittany Ednie, shared a humorous anecdote from Scott’s wedding in May. Not wanting others to know she was pregnant, Scott would discreetly pass her drinks to Ednie to maintain appearances. “Brittany was taking one for the team,” Scott joked.
As the couple prepares for their new arrival, they have been busy setting up the nursery, sharing their progress with heartfelt messages about their family’s growth.
This period marks a significant and joyous chapter for Scott and McClintock, embraced warmly by their family and friends.
