Elvis Presley’s only daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, died at 54 after a heart attack.
Priscilla Presley, Lisa Marie’s mother, confirmed her death on Twitter. “My beloved daughter Lisa Marie was rushed to the hospital. She is now receiving the best care. Please keep her and our family in your prayers. We feel the prayers from around the world and ask for privacy during this time.”
The People portal released the news, which released a statement issued by Lisa Marie’s mother, Priscilla Presley, confirming her death: “It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us. She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known. We ask for privacy as we try to deal with this profound loss. Thank you for the love and prayers. There will be no further comment at this time.”
Sgt. Sean Maloney of the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Office told the New York Post that they responded to a call in Calabasas’ 5900 block of Normandy Drive at 10:40 am. Thursday at the request of the LA County Fire Department.
Firefighters performed CPR and took her to West Hills Hospital at 11:17 am. A few hours before Lisa Marie’s death, her mother, Priscilla (77), posted on social media about her health.
According to TMZ, Danny Keough, her ex-husband, who was also present at the house, helped Lisa Marie, 54, during the attack. Lisa Marie’s housekeeper found her unconscious; Keough performed CPR while paramedics administered “epinephrine on the spot at least once to help Presley regain a pulse.”
