The Election Commission has officially reinstated the victory notification for Zahoor Qureshi after a suspension lasting one and a half months.
Zahoor Qureshi, representing the Khanewal constituency NA-146, initially won the election as an independent candidate before affiliating with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Shortly after his victory, the Election Commission temporarily suspended his certification.
Recent court rulings have facilitated the reinstatement of his victory notification, concluding a protracted period of uncertainty.
With this decision, the PTI party has successfully regained three National Assembly seats and one Provincial Assembly seat.
