Due to the incompetence of the Punjab police and administration, criminals have become emboldened and are now attacking citizens in broad daylight.
In Faisalabad’s Batala Colony, a beauty parlour where a woman, along with several others, including an unidentified man, attacked the beautician named Shabana.
According to reports, Aamna and Thubia assaulted Shabana, choking her and stealing her gold necklace. CCTV footage of the incident has emerged, showing the severity of the attack.
Shabana, who works at the beauty parlour, reported that Aamna and Thubia, along with an unknown man, arrived by rickshaw and immediately attacked her. Thubia threw Shabana on the sofa and attempted to strangle her while Aamna slapped her and removed her necklace. The parlour staff intervened but faced violence themselves, with another beautician, Tahira, also being assaulted.
The situation escalated, prompting residents to intervene, only to be attacked themselves by the women. The assailants eventually dragged Shabana outside the salon, threatened severe consequences, and escaped. It was reported that Thubia, who had worked at the same salon, had left two months earlier and had been inciting Shabana into prostitution.
Shabana has since filed a police report at the Batala Colony station, detailing her injuries and the assault on Tahira by Aamna. The salon owner, Azhar Ali, intervened to save them. During the incident, three unidentified armed individuals were present outside the salon, who fled the scene, threatening onlookers as residents approached.
