Alfonso Arus, the presenter of the La Sexta program, noted that the owner of Inter Miami had a “slightly more swollen” face. Tatiana Arus, a contributor, speculated that the swelling might be due to a cosmetic procedure, though she remarked that “it is not his best look nor does it flatter him.”
“True, swelling is expected after some cosmetic enhancements until it subsides,” commented another young woman on the show. The most outspoken talk show host, Patricia Benitez, candidly criticized Beckham’s look: “He is in decline… Horrible.”
Alfonso Arús disagreed with a defence regarding studio lighting by Angie Cardenas, who suggested, “It seems hard for him to laugh as he can’t move his facial muscles, perhaps due to the lighting.” Arús responded, “The lighting does not change the fact that he cannot smile.”
It’s unclear if David Beckham has recently had any cosmetic work done, but these images have sparked controversy. Beckham is widely recognized for transforming the relationship between footballers and the fashion industry, influenced by his marriage to Victoria, a globally followed singer.
