Law enforcement agencies (LEAs) have arrested Amir Mansoor a local leader of Islamic State (IS) aka Daesh in Punajb.

According to LEAs Mansoor is commander of the IS in Islamabad and responsible for recruiting unemployed young men.

Sources said the law enforcement agencies have launched a large scale crackdown in Punjab against Daesh, arresting 18 suspects in Sargodha, eight in Okara, 12 in Gujranwal on the bases of information provided by Mansoor.

The Counter Terrorism Department also busted a Daesh linked group in Daska near Silakot a few days ago.
