Prime Minister has formal requested to the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif  to play ‘positive’ role in the political crisis.

According to Interior  Minister Chaudhary Nisar “The PM has urged the COAS to play a mediatory role between the government and the anti-government political parties”

Chaudhry Nisar’s statement came after a meeting of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif in which they had an exchange of views on current political impasse in the country.

COAS Raheel has also conveyed messages to all the stakeholder for an amicable solution to end the political impasse.
