Criminal cases have been registered against three former officials of the Karachi Police department on the orders of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The Supreme Court of Pakistan had directed Inspector General of Police to take action in Karachi law and order situation case.
Cases were registered against former SHO Saddar Naeem Khan, Tariq Islam and Qalandar Bakhsh.
The action was taken against police officers after revelations were made about involvement of 47 police officers in kidnapping for ransom.
