Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Imran Ismail, who is candidate for NA-246 by-election has demanded for deployment of army in the constituency till April 23.
Addressing a press conference, Imran said PTI supporters and worker’s lives are more important than any election or by-election.
Imran alleged that the party’s workers are being targeted during election campaign in Karachi due to which his workers could not be able to contact the people of the constituency.
Imran accused MQM candidate Kunwar Naveed and other party leaders of inciting violence against the PTI.
He questioned as to when Election Commission of Pakistan would take notice of the recent incidents in NA-246.
“A code of conduct was prepared at Governor House but MQM violated it the very next day,” Imran claimed.
