Brazil’s Supreme Court has ruled that the social platform X, owned by Elon Musk, must settle outstanding fines to resume operations in Brazil.
Earlier in the week, representatives from X assured the court of their compliance with directives aimed at curbing misinformation. They requested that the ban on their service be lifted, emphasizing their adherence to the court’s requirements. However, the court has maintained that payment of the pending fines is essential for reinstating their services.
