Player Stefon Diggs of the Buffalo Bills made an odd entrance at the NFL Pro Bowl.
The wide receiver made a dramatic leap through a cloud of smoke while attempting to catch two footballs. He eventually gave up after failing to make a successful catch after several attempts.
Diggs put on what appeared to be a superhero mask before his sequence began, crouching behind a row of cheerleaders.
Diggs donned a superhero mask behind a cheerleader row before his act. He started his round by crouching behind the NFL cheerleaders, who were in front of the mat where competitors were supposed to land after catching.
Some Twitter users immediately pointed out that Diggs appeared to approach the cheerleaders suspiciously close while donning his mask.
One user specifically commented on a picture of the wide receiver that makes him appear somewhat suspicious, asking, “Diggs ain’t blindfolded 🤣 He had a front row seat to stare at cheerleaders’ cheeks 💀 #NFL #ProBowl #ProBowlGames!!!”
Diggs responded with the lighthearted tweet, “I had to fix my mask. I promise I would never do such a thing yaw finna get me in trouble,” pleading his innocence.
Diggs could not convince most of his Twitter followers, who seemed to think he may have been enjoying “fixing his mask” a little too much.
