A ten-month old baby girl, who needed urgent medical attention, died in Karachi after her father failed to get her to Civil Hospital because of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s heavy security, Bilawal was on a visit to the hospital.
The grieving father of the girl, while talking to the media said that his child was in a serious condition but security officers did not allow him to go to the hospital and as a result the toddler died in his arms.
Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman, Bilawal, earlier visited Civil Hospital to inaugurate a trauma center.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah was accompanying Bilawal during the visit. But he avoided questions posed by media persons over the death of a minor girl.
Imran Ismail, a local leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), said that his party would register an FIR as ‘this is a murder.’

Chairman PTI Imran Khan also expressed his sorrow over the sad incident and criticized the VIP culture.
He said that police in Sindh and Punjab are only for providing protocol to the rulers, adding there is no such protocol culture in KPK, where his party is in power.
Later, Civil Hospital administration denied that all ways leading to the hospital were blocked.
Medical Superintendent Saeed Qureshi said that main gate of the hospital was opened, adding it was not theirs fault if protocol officers did not allow father of the girl to enter the hospital.
